Marvelous March Madness

Well... a LOT has happened since I last wrote. We have huge news (though not news to some of you by now... but it will surprise some). We are expecting Mini-Murchison #2!!! I am almost 8 weeks pregnant now. We found out on March 4th and could not be happier! I like to think of it as a message from God, since we found out on March 4th, that He is telling us that all will be just perfect so we should "continue on"... or "march forth"- even though things seem tough or uncertain sometimes! I know that probably sounds silly, but I see His hands at work within our family in so many ways... especially regarding the upcoming deployment. We have peace about Don going, which is a huge blessing. Don has an assistant principal job already lined up for when he returns a year from now... which is amazing. I am going to be able to stay home with Shelby and the baby for a while, which is a dream come true.... There are just so many things to be thankful for. So, I wanted you all to know that we are on a positive kick, with God's help... The baby is due November 6th so we are hoping that Don will be able to take his two weeks of R & R leave during that time frame. We'll see.

On another note- we've been very busy since I last wrote... but here are the highlights:

* We had Spring Break last week- a whole week off as a family!

* We went to the Rodeo & saw Darius Rucker (aka Hootie) in concert

* I took my content exam for Region 4 and passed it... so I can officially teach as a certified teacher in Texas!!!

* Went to Poteet to pick up my mom and bring her back to Houston

* Shelby had an early birthday party on March 22nd (so Don could be there)
