We are now settled in our home here in Houston, TX and have become very busy in our lives but God has been ever present through the entire transition from Germany to Texas and throughout each day... I have been in college full-time for two semesters and will continue going full time this summer and in the Fall. I will be finished by Christmas and be able to receive my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from UH-D. Don is now in a Masters program through Lamar University as well. Shelby and I go to work together every day and she is in the classroom next to mine... Since I have to work, I'd say that is such a big blessing to be able to have her right there in the same building and I know she is safe and happy throughout each day! She loves going to see her friends! She is talking so much now (at 22 months). We had tubes put in her ears a couple of weeks ago and it has made a huge difference in her hearing/speech! Well, I have to run for now but wanted to finish this first blog. I hope for this blog page to keep our family and friends as updated as possible. We love you all very much!
